Alden Link, Libertarian Party Presidential Candidate, appointed Thomas Robert Stevens of New York State as his Campaign Manager on July 13, 2006, just ten days after the two of them attended the Libertarian Party National Convention held at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower in Portland, Oregon from June 28-July 3, 2006.
Dr. Stevens was instrumental in writing the Revised Campaign Platform of the Alden Link For President campaign that was unveiled on December 3, 2006 and which served as the basis for the campaign's efforts through the Libertarian Party National Convention held at the Sheraton Denver in Denver, Colorado over Memorial Day Weekend in 2008. Dr. Tom Stevens recommended Michael W. Reid, Jr. of Pennsylvania to serve as Treasurer of the Committee to Elect Alden Link President and recommended Greg Verdibello and subsequently Ronald S. Ramo (both of New York State) to serve in the capacity of National Youth Coordinator.
Thomas Robert Stevens led the Alden Link Campaign Team into the Libertarian Party National Convention held in Denver, Colorado and served as Campaign Manager of the Alden Link For President campaign until the Termination Report for the Committee To Elect Alden Link President was formally accepted by the Federal Election Commission on July 17, 2008.
