Dr. Tom Stevens Appointed Political Director Of The Libertarian Party Of Queens County

On Saturday, June 12, 2010, the Libertarian Party of Queens County voted unanimously to appoint Dr. Tom Stevens, its duly elected State Representative, to the newly created position of Political Director.

The motion made by John Clifton, Vice-Chair, and seconded by Ronald S. Ramo, Treasurer, was the following:

MOTION: That Dr. Tom Stevens be appointed to serve as Political Director for the Libertarian Party of Queens County and that he continue to serve in that capacity until such time that he either resigns from that position or the position is eliminated by the Executive Committee of the LPQC.

Dr. Tom Stevens said, "I am proud to be able to serve the Libertarian Party of Queens County in this new and important capacity. I am grateful for the support and confidence the members and leadership of the LPQC have expressed for me through the years of my involvement. I intend to continue to make them proud of all I do to promote liberty and to make the Libertarian Party of Queens County a more effective political force in New York State politics.
