On Tuesday, August 11, 2009, Mike LeVine, President of the Objectivist Party of Connecticut, started a blog entitled "Free Thinking In Connecticut". He explained that the purpose of his blog is to "present one man's critical analysis of ongoing issues throughout America and provide a platform for the reader to begin to question his or her own assumptions and beliefs about the government and it's real place in society".

Mike LeVine joined the Objectivist Party on November 2, 2008. He was appointed Executive Vice-President of the Objectivist Party of Connecticut on November 12, 2008 and appointed OPCT President on June 5, 2009.
